what the heck?

Would you believe I actually had a positive--TRULY positive--as in, the test line was darker than the control line--positive OPK on day 27??????????????????????

Craziness. Looks like this will be a long cycle.

(No, we did not go in for the IUI, even though I had a positive. Are you kidding me? It was cycle day 27, for crying out loud!!)

Just thought you'd like to know.

As I was googling "negative OPK but increased temperature" I came across your blog in the search results. Thank you for sharing your heart. I too am a Christian (from MN) and it is difficult to understand God's plan. I keep in mind that God has given me the desire to "nurture" and that until I am able to nurture a child, I will nurture whomever needs it: sisters, friends, my dog:), and my students (I am a teacher). It never completely fills the void but it helps to know that it is never too soon to "mother" and there are so many out there that need it. And also remember, God loves you so much. Sometimes it is hard to remember that. -Heather

SO GLAD to hear that! I mean, I applaud your perseverance... how long you must have been testing and looking that those stupid OPK's!
Now I've got to pray for you over the next two weeks... your heart and hopefully a ray of hope to your long trial.

All right! I'm glad you persevered with the OPKs; hopefully the rest of this cycle will go as expected or better!
