::long time, no post::

Sorry, friends!

Things have been a little busy, heh heh.

This guy takes up most of my time.

For those of you who didn't take the leap to our other site, let me fill you in.
William Isaiah was born on June 14 at 2:43p.m. He weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

The last days of our adoption process were full of ups and downs, but he officially became our son on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. We are thrilled to be parents, finally.

And as difficult a statement as it may be to read for some, I honestly feel in my heart of hearts--when I look into this little face that I can finally say....
Praise God for infertility.

If not for infertility, we wouldn't be holding this sweet little baby who has captured our hearts.

The Lord is good in His sovereignty. He is SO good. We are incredibly thankful for Isaiah.

And it gives me great pleasure to sign this as:
-the new mommy-

Congrats! God is so good- thats so true! My hubby and I are finally going to adopt- we made the decision last week! We are hoping to start in fall- and it will probably be from the states too. (The agency is in Utah)
Just seeing you go through this- makes me sooo excited! God has blessed you so richly! God's soo good!

God is good all the time. Praising God for infertility is just a recognition of His sovereignty and that He works all things for good.
Your son is such a cutie.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Rom. 11:33

From a mom of three teenagers - love every minute of him because they truly do grow up quickly!

Congratulations Mom and Dad!

Amen, Glenna.

Speaking as an infertile woman for whom adoption isn't an option, it *is* hard to say, "Praise God for infertility," but it's a sacrifice of obedient love for our sovereign God who withholds "no good thing" (Ps. 84:12) according to His perfect will. Congratulations on your new son; I thank God for this tangible blessing on your family.

"Praise God for infertility."

You don't/can't believe it until afterwards. But isn't that an awesome feeling?

Congratulations on your very handsome son!
